Tarrant Wildcats (Birmingham, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL), 55-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Tarrant improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 3A Region 5 test on Friday, September 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0.

With the loss, Talladega County Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Fighting tigers travel to Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-0. Central of Coosa County won 50-22 in their recent non-league test against Verbena (Verbena, AL)
