In Friday's league game, the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) football team smashed the host Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA), by a score of 49-0.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Hornets come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Honesdale was ripped by Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA), 23-6, in a non-league game.
