The Sun Valley Vanguards smashed the host Academy Park Knights soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Friday's non-league match.
The Vanguards now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Upper Darby for a non-league match on Monday, August 28. Sun Valley will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Norristown (Norristown, PA). The Royals record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Academy Park drops to 0-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Kennett (Kennett Square, PA) to encounter the Blue Demons in a non-league match on Friday, September 8. The Blue Demons come into the match with a record of 1-0.
