Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 28. Glenbrook North will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fremd (Palatine, IL).
The Lane Tech now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Forest for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28. Lane Tech will confront a Scouts team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 1-2.
