New Berlin West Vikings (New Berlin, WI) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings confront the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions (New Berlin, WI) in a Woodland challenge, on Monday, August 28. New Berlin West will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Kimberly (Kimberly, WI).

The Spartans now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6.
