The Dewar Dragons (Dewar, OK) softball nipped the visiting Rush Springs Redskins (Rush Springs, OK), 3-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Dragons (16-0) will now prepare for their bout against Sterling (Sterling, OK). The Tigers go into the Class A bout with a 12-2 record.

The Redskins now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Union City for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Rush Springs will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 2-9.
