The North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) softball the host Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA), 7-5 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Titans (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, South Paulding held off Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA), 15-0, in a league bout.
The Indians now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Irwin County will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
