The Newcastle Racers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Lincoln Christian Bulldogs to 0 in the Racers non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Newcastle moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Racers travel to Kansas (Kansas, OK) to clash with the Comets in a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. The Comets come into the game with a record of 11-11.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Kellyville Ponies (Kellyville, OK) in a 3A game, on Tuesday, August 29. Lincoln Christian will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record.
