The Porter Pirates (Porter, OK) softball routed the visiting Wellston Tigers (Wellston, OK), 8-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Weleetka (Weleetka, OK). The Outlaws go into the Class A bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Weleetka toppled Olive (Drumright, OK), 6-4, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Carney for a non-league bout on Friday, August 25.
