The Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX) volleyball topped the host Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX), 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brook Hill for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Chester will confront a Guard team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chester (Chester, TX). The Guard record now stands at 20-5.
The Yellowjackets (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Burkeville was knocked off by Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
