Alabama High School Volleyball - Gulf Shores over Austin

Gulf Shores Dolphins (Gulf Shores, AL) supporters went home thrilled Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), 2-0 in a non-league game.

The Dolphins now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spain Park for a non-league game on Friday, August 25. Gulf Shores will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.

The Black Bears (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Montgomery Academy gained a win over Pike Road (Pike Road, AL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
