In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Yoakum Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bishop Badgers.
The Bulldogs (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Hondo defeated Comfort (Comfort, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Badgers encounter the St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 25. Bishop will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Flyers come into the battle with a 12-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Columbus (Columbus, TX).
