The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) and the host Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX), saw Burges's volleyball squad beat Fabens by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Burges upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Hanks (El Paso, TX) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Hanks won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Monahans (Monahans, TX)
