The V.R. Eaton Eagles held off the host Decatur Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league test on Friday, August 25. V.R. Eaton will confront a Texans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mansfield (Mansfield, TX). The Texans record now stands at 11-7.

The Eagles (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Prestonwood Christian was tipped by Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
