The Escalante Lobos volleyball team (Tierra Amarilla, NM), went down 3-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mancos Bluejays (Mancos, CO)
The Bluejays (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ignacio (Ignacio, CO). The Bobcats come into the 2A/1A San Juan Basin challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Ignacio defeated Del Norte (Del Norte, CO), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lobos encounter the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 30. Escalante will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM).
