In Friday's non-league battle, the host John Paul II Guardians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Faith Academy Flames.
The Guardians (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Keystone (San Antonio, TX). The Cobras come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Keystone notched a victory over San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool (San Antonio, TX), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
The Flames now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league bout on Friday, August 25. Faith Academy will play a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Anderson HomeSchool (Anderson, IN). The record now stands at 21-71.
