In Friday's non-league contest, the Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) volleyball squad nudged the host Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Choctaw Yellowjackets (Choctaw, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
With the loss, Newcastle moves to 2-8 on the year. The Racers host Cache (Cache, OK) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 29. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 10-3. Cache won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against MacArthur (Lawton, OK)
