Mississippi High School Volleyball - Northwest Rankin tips St. John Paul II

In Friday's non-league contest, the Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) volleyball squad edged the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Northwest Rankin will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL).

With the loss, St. John Paul II drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Lions in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 26. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Briarwood Christian lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS)
