The South Eugene Axe topped the visiting Redmond Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Axe now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Medford for a non-league test on Friday, August 25. South Eugene will confront a Black Tornado team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ashland (Ashland, OR). The Black Tornado record now stands at 1-0.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against South Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, South Salem gained a win over Sheldon (Eugene, OR), 2-0, in a non-league test.
