The Esperanza Aztecs edged the visiting Corona del Mar Sea Kings flag football team by a score of 25-22 in Sunday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Aztecs face the Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 26. Esperanza will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Diablos enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 27-20 non-league win over Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA).
The Sea Kings (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Marina held off Villa Park (Villa Park, CA), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.
