Virginia High School Volleyball - Western Branch over Churchland

August 25, 2025: Portsmouth, VA 23703

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA), observed Western Branch's volleyball squad notch a victory over Churchland by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Western Branch improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bruins travel to Woodside (Newport News, VA) to encounter the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Truckers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Booker T. Washington for a Eastern test on Wednesday, September 10.
