In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Chantilly Chargers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the McLean Highlanders.

The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wakefield School (The Plains, VA). The Fighting Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Wakefield School was nudged by South Lakes (Reston, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders play the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. McLean will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
