The crowd at Monday's non-league contest between the Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) and the host Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), witnessed Mt. Carmel's flag football squad knock off Sage Creek by a tally of 25-13.

The Sundevils (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against San Pasqual (Escondido, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, San Pasqual was toppled by O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA), 19-7, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Bobcats encounter the El Camino Wildcats (Oceanside, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, August 26. Sage Creek will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 44-6 league loss to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA).
