In Monday's non-league outing, the host South Oldham Dragons soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Ballard Bruins.

The Dragons (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Sacred Heart edged Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bruins now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bullitt East for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Ballard will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Chargers record now stands at 5-2.
