The Kirtland Hornets triumphed over the visiting Brooklyn Hurricanes soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Crestwood for a Chagrin Valley - Valley bout on Thursday, August 28. Kirtland will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Southeast (Ravenna, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Brooklyn moves to 0-3 on the year. The Hurricanes host Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH) to encounter the Trojans in a Chagrin Valley - Metro challenge on Wednesday, August 27. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Trinity lost 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Shaw (East Cleveland, OH)
