Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Bullitt East advances its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Ballard (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Ballard lost 6-1 in their recent non-league outing against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY)

Next up, the Colonels play the North Oldham Mustangs (Goshen, KY) in a District 29 outing, on Wednesday, September 3. Oldham County will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY).
