Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Crestview Knights (Convoy, OH) and the host South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN), saw Crestview's soccer squad hold off South Adams by a score of 2-1.
The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Bluffton (Bluffton, OH). The Pirates come into the Northwest outing with a 1-1 record.
Next up, the Starfires confront the Woodlan Warriors (Woodburn, IN) in a Allen County outing, on Thursday, August 28. South Adams will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Garrett (Garrett, IN).
