In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting East Carter Raiders soccer team scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Ironton Fighting Tigers.
With the triumph, East Carter advances its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Russell (Russell, KY) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 3-1. Russell 0-0 in their recent non-league test against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY)
The Fighting Tigers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Point for a Ohio Valley test on Wednesday, August 27. Ironton will clash with a Pointers team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH). The Pointers record now stands at 0-2.
