Next, the Braves battle the Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) in a Sagamore contest, on Thursday, August 28. Indian Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Sparkplugs enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN).
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Indiana challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Batesville nudged Connersville (Connersville, IN), 6-1, in a league challenge.
