The Male Bulldogs held off the host Ballard Bruins football squad by a count of 13-7 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Male will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 20-16 non-league win over South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Ballard moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bruins travel to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY) to face the Crimsons in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15. The Crimsons go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
