The Yorktown Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Shelbyville Golden Bears to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Fishers for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 7.

With the loss, Shelbyville drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Connersville (Connersville, IN) to play the Spartans in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 1-1.
