Illinois High School Soccer - Althoff Catholic knocks off Breese Central

In Monday's non-league outing, the host Althoff Catholic Crusaders soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 win over the Breese Central Cougars.

The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators enter the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Springfield ran past Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL), 5-3, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Maryville Christian Lions (Maryville, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 28. Breese Central will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
