In Monday's league outing, the visiting Tolland Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Berlin Redcoats.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Redcoats now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Windsor for a Central Connecticut - Central test on Tuesday, August 26. Berlin will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ellington (Ellington, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
