The Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) soccer overwhelmed the visiting St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV), 13-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Webster County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. Braxton County will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 2-2 league Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-1.
The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame beat Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV), 3-1, in a league contest.
