Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA), 8-0 in a non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Chartiers-Houston for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Brentwood will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Valley moves to 0-1 on the year. The Vikings host Leechburg (Leechburg, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a WPIAL AA 2 bout on Thursday, September 4. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
