With the triumph, Central Cabarrus moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Carson (China Grove, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-1. Carson lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against North Iredell (Olin, NC)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 27. Mount Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
