North Carolina High School Soccer - Mountain Heritage nudges Chase

The Mountain Heritage Cougars soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Chase Trojans to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.
The Cougars now hold a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Henderson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, August 27. Mountain Heritage will face a Knights team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against McDowell (Marion, NC). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, McDowell nudged R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.
