In Monday's non-league outing, the host Delaware County Christian Knights soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Springfield Cougars.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Cougars go into the Bicentennial - Constitution outing with a 1-0 record.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA) in a Central outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Royals go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Norristown (Norristown, PA).
