The Fairbanks Panthers smashed the visiting Northeastern Jets soccer team by a tally of 11-0 in Monday's league game.
Next, the Panthers face the West Liberty-Salem Tigers (West Liberty, OH) in a Ohio Heritage South game, on Thursday, August 28. Fairbanks will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 3-0 record after their 4-0 league win over Catholic Central (Springfield, OH).
With the loss, Northeastern moves to 0-2 on the year. The Jets host Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
