In Monday's non-league test, the host Jefferson J-Hawks soccer team scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Grant Community Bulldogs.
With the triumph, Jefferson advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The J-Hawks travel to Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to clash with the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 test on Thursday, August 28. The E-Rabs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Rockford East lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL)
The Bulldogs now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to McHenry for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Grant Community will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Round Lake (Round Lake, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
