Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Sanderson moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Clayton (Clayton, NC) to play the Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. The Comets come into the test with a record of 3-0. Clayton won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC)

The Knights now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host J.F. Webb for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Knightdale will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
