In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting South Elgin Storm soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Lake Zurich Bears.
The Storm (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Bears now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Lake Zurich will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 3-3 non-league Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 0-0.
