Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Vicksburg Bulldogs (Vicksburg, MI), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Spartans (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs enter the Southwestern Michigan - East outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Portage Central tipped Canton (Canton, MI), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 3. Vicksburg will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
