In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings soccer team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mount Tabor Spartans.
With the triumph, Northwest Guilford moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Whirlies in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. The Whirlies come into the test with a record of 2-3. Grimsley lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)
The Spartans now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Winston Salem Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Mount Tabor will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Page (Greensboro, NC). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
