In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Palisades Pumas soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the South Point Red Raiders.
The Pumas (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Independence was edged by East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 27. South Point will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 1-1 non-league Davie County (Mocksville, NC).
