The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) and the visiting Sasakwa Vikings (Sasakwa, OK), observed Moss's softball team notch a victory over Sasakwa by a final score of 17-0.

The Pirates (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Varnum (Seminole, OK). The Whippets enter the Class B game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Varnum topped Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK), 6-0, in a non-league game.

The Vikings now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Strother for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. Sasakwa will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Drumright (Drumright, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-1.
