Set 1: an early 3-2 Cougar lead evaporated to a 3-8 deficit. Annenberg rolls on 17-7 & romps to a huge win. The teams traded blows to start set 2. Annenberg clung to a 10-9 lead before going ahead 14-10. Athena Orujyan found her mojo & cracked away serving elevating her team to 16 all. A challenge. Annenberg responded with a 9-3 closing kick. It's a long way to the top if you want to win in 5. The Lake was facing an elimination set as the Panthers led 13-10. Down 14-15 the Lake show battled to 16 all. K-Mart, (Kennia) the cobra hissed to the service line & opened a 21-16 lead. 4-3 sideout ball gave us our first set win. 5-3 to open set 4 teal & black! A stellar serving rotation for co-captain Athena riddled the Panthers 15-4. Annenberg made a valiant effort scoring 15 of the next 25 points but fell short. LBCP has come all the way back!
