Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA) and the visiting Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA), observed Mariposa County's volleyball team top Central Valley by a count of 3-0.

The Grizzlies (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Hughson beat Argonaut (Jackson, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Riptide enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Delhi (Delhi, CA).
