In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Coon Rapids Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Kennedy Eagles.
The Cardinals (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Minneapolis, MN). The come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Cristo Rey Jesuit went down by Johnson (St. Paul, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Louis Park for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Kennedy will face a Orioles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Orioles record now stands at 1-1.
