North Carolina High School Volleyball - Northwood over Durham School of the Arts

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) and the visiting Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs (Durham, NC), saw Northwood's volleyball squad notch a victory over Durham School of the Arts by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Northwood improves its record to 1-6 on the season. The Chargers travel to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to encounter the Stallions in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 27. The Stallions go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Southeast Alamance lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Granville for a Big Seven 4A/5A battle on Tuesday, August 26. Durham School of the Arts will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-4.
